Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)

Samaritan House has been recognized on CNN and in Parade Magazine and the New York Times for its outstanding multi-specialty health services. More than 100 volunteer professionals provide preventive, primary and specialty care. Health education, counseling, dentistry, ophthalmology, gynecology, neurology, orthopedics, physical therapy and comprehensive diabetes care are some of the many services provided. Each month more than 500 uninsured people receive assistance at our San Mateo and Redwood City Free Clinics. .

We are seeking Calilfornia-licensed volunteer Physicians, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practioners, Dentists, Dental and Medical Assistants. Bilingual abilites (Spanish/English) would be especially useful. Volunteer hours are arranged at the convenience of our medical professionals.
We have two locations: San Mateo Free Clinic and Redwood City Free Clinic. Patients are seen at our clinics or may be referred to your practice

Samaritan House is the predominant non-profit agency in San Mateo County dedicated to meeting the needs of low-income neighbors through a fully integrated service delivery system: healthcare, case management and counseling, food, clothing, shelter, education, employment assistance. In tune with our theme, ?Neighbor Helping Neighbor,? more that 80 of all resources are donated by individuals and groups within the community. With the help of more than 3,300 volunteers per year and countless in-kind donations, we estimate that for every dollar donated, five are returned to our community. In total, we help more than 15,000 individuals build their self-sufficiency each year.
